– What does « too much is not enough » mean to you ?
Nothing is ever « too much » if you feel comfortable with yourself
– About your shooting, how did you work on it and how did you approach the subject?
I wanted to work since a long time on a kid editorial with Isabelle Chapuis, the photographer. I loved her idea of using cotton candy to play with volumes, textures. To create a strong contrast with the sweetness and the pink colour of the cotton candy, I worked on an « adult » styling: black and white, leather, creepers, silver jewels and accessories.
Biography:
Julie Nivert is a French fashion stylist based in Paris. She studied fashion design before starting her career as a freelance fashion assistant. She collaborates now with magazines, with fashion, jewellery and accessories editorials.
